Winter chapter of Saint Vincent brotherhood - Saturday, January 24th
General - rssFaithful to the tradition since 1475, the wine-growers of Visan « Saint Vincent » brotherhood
will honour their patron saint by celebrating the winter chapter of their brotherhood
on Saturday, 24th January 2009.
At 5.00 p.m, several jurys composed of professional wine-tasters and wine-lovers, presided by Gisèle Marguin, the President of the A.S.A.M.P (Association des Sommeliers Marseille Alpes Provence), will elect the best cuvées which are going to become, either « Saint Vincent » cuvée : 12 to 18 months ageing into oak casks in the beautiful « Saint Vincent » cellar, or « Cuvée du Marot » : 5 000 magnums cellared into Visan castle cellars during one year and taken out on the day of the summer chapter of « Saint Vincent » brotherhood, Saturday 11th July 2009.will honour their patron saint by celebrating the winter chapter of their brotherhood
on Saturday, 24th January 2009.
After the wine-tasting, the ceremony of introduction will take place around 7 p.m and will be followed with a dancing-dinner (49 euros /person).
